KISSAN SYNTHETIC ENAMEL is a single pack alkyd resin based enamel having high gloss and excellent durability

CHARACTERISTICS:
  • It can be used on metal, wood, concrete and for all general purpose application

  • APPLICATION Brush, Roller or Spray
  • VOLUME SOLIDS (%) : 30(Approx.
  • Recommended DFT/Coat : 25-35 microns
  • Corresponding WFT/Coat : 67-83 microns
  • Theoretical Covering Capacity: 212-10 Sq. Mts./ Lt. / Coat
  • Over Coating Interval: 8 hours (Minimum
  • THINNER : Synthetic thinner
  • SHELF LIFE : 12 Months in individual sealed containers kept in a Cool dry place under standard storage conditions
Application Procedure:

Stir the contents thoroughly before and during use.

Brush/Roller:

Apply with proper thinning.

Conventional Spray:

Add maximum 10-20% thinner if required.

Resistance Guide

Splash & Spillage: Good for salt and water. Not recommended for Acids, Alkalis and solvents.

Mild fumes and outdoors: Good for salt and water. Fair, for Acids, Alkalis and solvents

Temperature Resistance: 80°C (continuous), 100°C (intermittent)

Weatherability: Excellent under mild industrial and chemical exposure.

Flexibility: Excellent

Abrasion Resistance: Moderate.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

Remove oil, grease and other contaminants by solvent cleaning. Blast clean to a minimum Sa2 ½ Swedish standard. Surface profile should not exceed 35-40 microns. Where blasting is not possible, use mechanical tools along with manual chipping and wire brushing. Excessive burnishing of steel is to be avoided. The surface should be clean and dry before applying a primer coat.
