REAL GOLD WHITE PRIMER

KISSAN WHITE PRIMER is a single pack air drying primer with excellent penetrating properties

CHARACTERISTICS:
  • Provides a smooth, hard and solid barrier
  • Protects wood and cement surface from environmental degradation due to good adhesion on the substrate by forming a tough barrier.

  • VOLUME SOLIDS (%) : 40
  • Recommended DFT/Coat : 25-35 microns
  • Theoretical Covering Capacity: 20-25 microns
  • (At recommended DFT) : 20-15.8 Sq. Mts. / Lt. /Coat
  • Over Coating Interval: Minimum Overnight
  • THINNER : Synthetic thinner
  • SHELF LIFE : 12 Months in individual sealed containers kept in a Cool dry place under standard storage conditions
Application Procedure:

Stir the contents properly before and during application.

Brush:

Apply without thinning. If required add up to 5% thinner

Conventional Spray:

Add upto 10% thinner. Use standard equipment at an atomising pressure of 4.2-4.9 kg/cm2

Airless Spray:

Add upto 5% ST-1 thinner if required. Use standard equipment having pump ratio 30:1, Tip size 0.43-0.53 mm, Tip pressure 120-150 kg/cm2

Resistance Guide

Splash & Spillage: Excellent for water. Good for salts. Fair for Acids. Not recommended for solvents and Alkalis

Weatherability: Very good with suitable top coat.

Flexibility: Good

Abrasion Resistance: Moderate.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

WOOD & CEMENT PLASTER : Clean the surface, free from dust and other contaminants. Smoothen with emery paper No. 80. Clean all the powdery dust with a damp cloth. Allow to dry properly before application of primer.
